The 4S1M EVO SMOKK Racing Team has officially captured the MotoIR

Super Sport Bike GP Overall Championship, with rider #25 John Emerson “The Hitman” Inguito taking the top step of the podium.

In a stunning debut season in this category, Inguito rode his Yamaha R3 to a historic first overall championship over a grueling 14-race calendar held exclusively at Tarlac Circuit Hill.

Stepping far out of its comfort zone in the Underbone racing scene, the team entered the SuperSport Bike GP with a simple goal: to build a competitive machine and gain experience. A championship run was never the initial expectation, especially given the fierce competition. Inguito’s R3 was a true underdog on the grid, giving away significant power to larger machines like the Aprilia 457 and Kawasaki Ninja 500 and 400. Rather than relying on heavy engine modifications, the team focused on suspension, braking,
and precise handling to give Inguito a nimble, highly responsive bike.

The path to the championship was anything but easy. The season spanned six MotoIR rounds and two Super Series Nationwide Championships series rounds, for a total of 14 races. Despite the massive hurdle of missing one race and battling an inherent power disadvantage, the rider’s skill and the team’s relentless hard work kept them in the fight.

The title chase reached a thrilling climax late in the season. Only after Race 12 on September 27, 2026, did Inguito finally seize the top spot in the standings, edging defending champion Leandro Paredes by just 10.25 points on his Aprilia 457. The championship came down to an unforgettable final-race showdown between the two riders last weekend, October 24-25, 2026. Inguito claimed P3 in the sprint race, and under immense pressure, his masterful riding earned him P1 in the last race, helping him secure the title.

This underdog victory proves that high-level competition is won not just by the machine, but by the rider’s undeniable talent and the team’s unyielding dedication.

This milestone achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the partners who believed in the team’s vision. 4S1M Racing Philippines extends its deepest gratitude to its
