Shell Advance Regional Underbone Grand Prix – Super Series Cagayan de Oro GP
Another history in the making, as the Shell Advance Regional Underbone Grand Prix – Super Series conquers Cagayan de Oro, this is the 2nd leg of RUGP and 3rd leg of Super Series nationwide championships, as the top teams resumes its title bid.
In the Novice Category, Clint Sande from RPM scored two huge wins, first in Novice 4AT 160, with 10 riders on the grid, trailing behind his teammate Chad Guzman. Clint Sande didn’t blink from the start to finish. It was the same story in the Novice 130 Underbone. Started on pole and never looked back.
In the Intermediate 4AT 160, Mac Sande of RPM, started 6th on the grid after 2nd lap of the race he climbed up and eventually got the checkered flag. Job Gonzales started on 3rd climbed after 3rd laps of race and got the 2nd position. While Gene Sambling started on pole slide down to 4th in tha 1st to 6th laps of the race and climbed up to third in the 7th laps.
In the expert 130 underbone, it was Dan Carlos of Yamaha Philippines was the top performer of the day. Dan Carlos was able to maintain his pisition from start to finish. Vingie Coloma got 2nd place of team RPM and JovenMillana got 3rd.
In the TRL Yamaha MXi Cup, Clint Sande of RPM started on pole and was able to maintained his position and never looked back. SamiePilludar of V Man Racing and Wako Macapunong got 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the Super Yamaha Vega Force Fi, it wasDan Carlos of Yamaha Philippines and Eprahim Onahon of RPM exchanges lead in the Battle of 1st. But Dan Carlos was able to get the 1st position after the 5th laps of the race. And Vingie Coloma of Yamaha Philippines started 5th on the grid climb his way up to the third position.
In the Super Suzuki, Mac Sande started on pole maintained his position very well and never looked back. He was followed by EprahimOnahon of RPM and April King Mascardo of V Man Racing who placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the Super Underbone, Masato Fernando of Spec V Yamaha, started at pole was pressured by his teammates John Emerson Inguitobut to novail, Masato Fernando never looked back and takes the checkered flag. John Emerson finished 2nd and Vingie Coloma of Yamaha Philippnes got the 3rd place.
In the Super Scooter, Dan Carlos of Yamaha Philippines scored another win in this category, Carlos started on pole position in this race was able to maintain his position from start to finish. Vingie Coloma of Yamaha Philippines started on 5th on the grid climb his way up and eventually got the 2nd position after 2nd lap of the race and never looked back. EprahimOnahon of RPM strated 12th and actually he is on the last grid, Surprisingly he was able to get the 3rd position after 3rd lap of the race.
