Shell Advance Regional Underbone Grand Prix – Super Series Bacolod GP
Another history in the making for the Shell Advance Regional Underbone Grand Prix Super Series, as the series shifts to its first visayas race of the season. The City of smiles, Bacolod indeed gave the Shell Advance RUGP Super Series a warm welcome, with 250 plus entries and a jampacked crowd of spectators made the event a huge success. The Series was graced again by the top teams in country, headed by Yamaha Spec-V, Yamaha MW 323, Suzuki BMR Racing and Sum Racing – RPM. Plus hundreds of riders coming from all over negros and Iloilo city.
In the Bacolod Exclusive club race using Yamaha Mio MXi, it was Noel Lee Debulgaroof TEAM PONTEstarted on pole was very determined to get the first place, but unfortunately in the last lap of the race he was overtaken by OreotAcdol. Kirby Caparon of Juno Racing started on 6th , climbed his way up and was able to get the 2nd place on the last lap of the race. Noel Lee Debulgarosetteled 3rd.
In the Bacolod Exclusive club race using Yamaha Vega Forcei 115, it was Kirby Caparon of Juno racing started on second but he was able to get the lead on the 1st lap and never looked back. Francis Gutierez and and Yan Yan Balboa, got 2ndand 3rd respectively.
In the Raider J club race Bacolod Exclusive, at the first lap of the race It was ReijanMondiatakes the lead and never looked back he was pressured by AbrahimBarizo but to no vail, Barizostarted 5th on the grid climbed his way up and settled for second. Unfortunately, Mark Bravo started on pole slide down to 3rd.
In the Intermediate AT 160, It was Mac sande of RPM started on pole make sure that he will be infrontfrom the rest, and yes he was able to maintain his position from start to finish. He was followedClint Sande of RPM but unfortunately Louie Chan snatched his position, Louie Chan of BMR started 5th on the grid, setteled 2nd and Clyde Relativo of BMR got 3rd place.
In the Novice AT 160, it was Clyde Relativo of BMR started on pole maintained his position from 1st lap up to the last lap and got the checkered flag. Simon Solon started on 4th got the 2nd position in the 3rd lap of the race, and it was Chad Guzman got the 3rd place of this category.
In the Novice 130, it was Clint Sande of RPM was the top performer of the day, started on pole and never looked back. Chad Guzman and Simon Solon got 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the Expert 130 Underbone, it was Dan Carlos of Yamaha Philippines who started was able to maintained his position very well and he was pressured slightly by his teammate Vingie Coloma but no to surrender. Coloma setteled for 2nd and it was BornokMangosong of BMR got the 3rd place.
In the Raider J GP, another category were MacSande of RPM was the top rider , started on pole and never looked back. Trailed behind was his team mate ClintSande and setteled 2nd. Kirby Caparon started 2nd slide down to 3rd place.
In the TRL Yamaha Mio GP, it was infused of plenty racers as Clint Sande of RPM making the statement as he top the race. Clint Sandewas winning his 2nd victory of the day.Followed by Clifford Enarciso of RPM and Rey Jun Besueña of Top Notch Racing got 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the Super Yamaha, Dan Carlos of Yamaha Philippines scored another win in this category. Carlos was trailed by his fellow riders EprahimOnahon of RPM and his team mate Vingie Coloma. In the 7th Lap Dan Carlos making sure of the win and never looked back. Onahon and Coloma then finished 2nd and 3rd.
In the Super Suzuki, it was Mac Sande again got the win, it was his 3rd victory of the day started at pole and maintained his position all the way to the checkered flag. Followed by BornokMangosong of BMR got the 2nd spot finished. It was EprahimOnahon of RPM and Clint Sande exchanges lead in the battle of 3rd. But Onahon was able to get the 3rd position.
In the Super Scooter, it was Dan Carlos of Yamaha Philippines started on 2nd on the grid was able to get the whole shot first corner and never looked back. It was his 3rd victory of the day. Garry Cañeda got the 2nd place and Vingie Coloma of Yamaha Philippines started on 4th was able to get the 3rd position after na lap 4.
In the Super Underbone, It was John Emerson Inguito of SPEC V was the top performer of this category, started at pole and never looked back. Masato Fernando started on 6th position on the grid amazingly was able to climbed his way up to the 2nd position from the 1st lap until the last lap of the race. And It was Vingie Coloma of Yamaha Philippines got the 3rd place.
“It was indeed overwhelming here in Bacolod city, it was three years ago when we have the last RUGP race here and it’s a great comeback for us, not to mention, we did not only brought RUGP back in this great city, but we also brought the only true nationwide championship series in country, the Shell Advance Super Series” Jong Uy said, race chairman. “And the people of Bacolod and other neighboring Cities responded well, we are very thankfull for that, for sure we will see them again next year” he added.
