THE RACING LINE’S REGIONAL UNDERBONE GRAND PRIX 2010
The battle on the circuit continues, there is no slowing down Ernie Daguio Jr. and could have been a perfect race for Daguio if not for the first corner shuffle between Nino Cabatingan during the first heat of the 125 Novice Open class. Ernie Daguio Jr. got the championship of three classes, 4-AT Novice Open, 4-VALVE Open and the 150 Open. The 125 Novice Open could have completed his almost perfect race instead it gave way for Heikki Gabuelo of Rhean Racing Tagum City made his presence felt when he won the 125 Novice open, outclassing Nino Cabatingan of Phoenix – Suzuki VMAN Racing in the race, Clifford Bacus of One Heart Racing was the race leader during in the opening stages of the race until his motorcycle broke down that gave Gabuelo the lead all the way to the finish line.
In the 4-AT Beginners Open, National Motocross Rider Shawn Lim first taste of championship, he won the class, outclassing all his team mates in the Davao Scooter Club. In the 115 Super Stock Class the 12 year old prodigy of Phoenix-Suzuki VMAN Racing, April King Mascardo got the championship, taking the first corner on the opening lap of the 2nd heat and didn’t looked back.
Ernie Daguio Jr. leads all racers for the 2010 Regional Underbone Grand Prix Rider of the year, Vingie Coloma of Motor-R was the closet rival for the Rider of the Year didn’t joined the second leg of the series.
