HONDA MOTORWORLD UNDERBONE CIRCUIT RACING
LEG-2 KARTZONE, CEBU CITY
Another thrilling finish in the second leg of the Honda Motorworld Underbone Circuit racing last Sunday March 28, 2010 at Kartzone. Keken Cabahug of Cyrus Racing/Motorworld racing displayed an awesome performance as he won two classes, the 110 Super Stock beginners and the 125 Novice Open. This is also Cabahug’s first time to run in the Novice open in the series, he had a wheel to wheel battle with Gary Caneda of CRT / Motorworld Racing in the 1st heat of the 125 Novice Open, however Cabahug was able to sneak in on the inside at Lap-6 right after the double apex turn. Caneda didn’t gave up on the lead, pushes thru until the last lap of heat one, however Cabahug took the checkered flag. On heat two, Caneda pushes hard on Cabahug from the opening lap to the last lap, both riders displayed awesome performance on the track, but in the end of the 15th lap race, Cabahug prevailed.
Another exciting finish in the 125 super stock beginners between Mark Capoya and Jes Louie Vega, Jes Loiue Vega was leading all the way, until both riders had a collision after the double apex turn with four more laps to go in the race, Capoy was able to pick himself up first, but Jes Louie Vega didn’t give up in the lead, he battled all the way to the checkered and both riders almost crossed the finish line at the same time and Capoy was just ahead a few inches from Loiue Vega.
Lyndon Requilme, show an awesome performance in the 4AT-All Honda beat class, Requilme never looked back from the start of the race to the checkered flag. He dominated the 4-AT-All Honda beat class. Gary Caneda of CRT / Motorworld Racing dominated the 110 Novice Open class, beating Peter Gjengaar of Motorworld Racing. Gary Caneda showed brilliance in the race track as he topped both heats of this class.
The race was indeed as huge success, with over 70-riders participated and a lone rider form Bacolod City, from Pacman Jackal Raicng, Benjie Genzole, made a debut on the track and was able to finish 5th place in the 110 Novice Open. “It was an exciting race and we would like to thank all the racers who joined the race, we hope to see them again in the 3rd leg” said Jonel Borromeo, President of Honda Motorworld Inc., Catch this race on The Racing Line aired over at RCTV-36.
