2009 Philippine Autocross Championship Series Round-4 Davao City

The 4^th round of the Philippine Autocross Championship Series in Davao ended in a surprising twist.  It is a three way tie for the driver of the year championship, Pietro Jaldon 2008 defending champion, George Arquiza and John Hernel Jao.  These three drivers came out blazing in their respective heats and classes but Pietro Jaldon manages to take the fastest time of day.  John Jao on the other hand still have two chances to beat Jaldon, but only finishes second.  Arquiza was the first one who clocks in the fastest time of the day on his run under the Novice Modified A, but was beaten by Jao in the Novice Modified-B and Jaldon demolish both drivers as he clocks more than a second faster on board Mikki Cong’s Honda EG.

The track was a semi-high speed track with some easy turns in the stretch which gave the drivers another spice of challenge.  The Racing Line would like to thank SM City Davao for making the race possible.
